1. What is an access code, and where do I find mine?

Your access code is a unique identifier Stripe generates for your specific purchase. It's what powerengcalc.com checks to confirm you paid, on any device.

You'll see it exactly once, automatically: in a banner across the top of the page the moment you're returned to powerengcalc.com after completing payment. It looks like a button labeled Copy next to a string starting with cs_.

It is not in your Stripe receipt email. Stripe's payment receipt confirms the charge — amount, date, card used — but does not include this code, so checking your inbox for it will not work. Save it from the on-screen banner at the moment you see it: copy it into a notes app, password manager, or anywhere you'll be able to find it later.

2. Activate a subscription or download on a different device — step by step

Use this whenever you're on a browser or device that hasn't been unlocked yet — a new computer, a different browser on the same computer, or your phone after purchasing on a laptop.

  1. Go to powerengcalc.com on the new device or browser.
  2. Run any calculator and click Download PDF.
  3. In the window that opens, scroll down and click Restore Access.
  4. From the dropdown, choose Monthly or annual subscription or One-time purchase, matching what you bought.
  5. Paste your access code into the box and click Restore Access.

The site verifies the code with Stripe in the background. If it's valid, PDF downloads unlock on that device immediately — no account, no password, no email confirmation to wait for.

3. I can't find my access code — what now?

Email info@pefgconsulting.com with the name or email address you used at checkout and roughly when you paid. We can look up your Stripe payment and send you the code directly. This is a manual lookup on our end, so please allow some time for a reply.

4. Why isn't there just a login?

To keep checkout as short as possible — pay and go, no account to create or password to remember. The tradeoff is that paid access lives in that one browser rather than an account you can sign into anywhere. The access code is what bridges that gap: it's the thing you present to prove, on a new device, that the purchase behind it was really yours.

5. Does this work in a private/incognito window, or if I clear my browser data?

A private or incognito window doesn't save anything once you close it, including unlocked PDF access — you'd need to restore access again the next time you open one. Clearing your browser's site data (cookies, local storage) for powerengcalc.com has the same effect on a normal window. Either way, your access code still works — use it with Restore Access to unlock the browser again in under a minute.

6. How does the site know my subscription is still active, without me logging in?

Once a browser is unlocked for a monthly or annual plan, that browser quietly checks in with our server every time you load the page. If Stripe has told us your subscription is still active, we do nothing — you stay unlocked. If Stripe has told us it was cancelled or a renewal payment failed, access on that device is turned off automatically the next time you load the page. You never have to do anything for this to happen in either direction; it's the same check that keeps a lapsed subscription from staying unlocked forever.

7. How do I cancel a subscription?

Use the Manage subscription link in the receipt email Stripe sent when you purchased, or email info@pefgconsulting.com. Full details, including when cancellation takes effect, are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
