Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Summary

You may cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation stops all future billing. It does not refund amounts already paid. Your access continues through the end of the billing period you have already paid for.

2. What You Are Purchasing

Every calculator on powerengcalc.com is free to use, and every step-by-step derivation is displayed in full at no charge. Payment purchases one thing only: the ability to download the calculation as a formatted PDF report.

Three purchase options are offered:

• One-time purchase — a single payment granting access to download one PDF report. Not a recurring charge. Downloading another PDF, on any calculator, requires another one-time purchase.
• Monthly subscription — recurring monthly charge granting unlimited PDF downloads across all calculators while the subscription is active, renewing automatically until cancelled.
• Annual subscription — recurring yearly charge granting unlimited PDF downloads across all calculators while the subscription is active, renewing automatically until cancelled.

An optional "Buy Me a Coffee" tip of any amount is also available. A tip is a gift, not a purchase — it grants no PDF access and is not subject to the purchase terms below, though it is likewise non-refundable once processed.

All purchases are digital products delivered immediately upon successful payment. There is no physical product, no shipment, and no delivery delay.

3. No Refunds — All Sales Final

This includes, without limitation:

• One-time PDF access purchases, whether or not any PDF was ever downloaded
• Monthly or annual subscription charges, whether or not the service was used during the period
• Partial, unused, or remaining portions of any subscription term
• Renewal charges that occurred because a subscription was not cancelled before the renewal date
• Purchases made in error, including selecting the wrong plan
• Dissatisfaction with the scope, format, or content of the PDF reports

Because access is granted immediately and the product is digital and non-returnable, no refund is available once payment is completed. By completing a purchase you acknowledge and accept this policy.

PEFG strongly encourages you to use the free calculators and review the full on-screen derivations before purchasing, so you can confirm the tool meets your needs.

4. Cancelling a Subscription

You may cancel a monthly or annual subscription at any time, for any reason, with no cancellation fee and no penalty.

To cancel, use either method:

• Stripe customer portal — use the "Manage subscription" link in the receipt email Stripe sent when you purchased. This link lets you cancel immediately without contacting us.
• Email — send a cancellation request from the email address used at purchase to info@pefgconsulting.com. We will process it and confirm by reply.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. It stops all future charges. It does not generate a refund of amounts already paid, including the payment for the period during which you cancel.

To avoid being charged for a renewal, cancel before the renewal date shown in your Stripe receipt or customer portal. Cancelling after a renewal charge has processed does not reverse that charge.

5. What Happens to Your Access

• After cancelling a subscription — PDF download access remains active through the end of the period you have already paid for, then ends.
• One-time purchases — the single download credit does not expire while unused, but is consumed the moment you generate that PDF. It is not renewed or refunded, and is not affected by this section.
• Free access is unaffected — all calculators, results, and step-by-step derivations remain free to use whether or not you have an active subscription. Cancelling never restricts your ability to use the calculators.

PDF access is recorded in your browser. If you clear your browser data, change devices, or use a different browser, use the "Restore Access" option on the site with the access code from your Stripe receipt. If you cannot restore access, contact us and we will help.

6. Limited Exceptions

Notwithstanding Section 3, PEFG will correct the following at our discretion. These are billing corrections, not refunds of validly delivered service:

• Duplicate charges — if you were charged more than once for the same purchase due to a processing error, the duplicate charge will be reversed.
• Charges after cancellation — if you were billed after a properly submitted cancellation was confirmed, that charge will be reversed.
• Failure to deliver — if payment completed but access was never granted and we are unable to resolve it, the charge will be reversed.
• Unauthorized use of a payment method — reported and substantiated fraudulent charges will be reversed.

Report any of the above to info@pefgconsulting.com within 60 days of the charge, including the Stripe receipt or the last four digits of the card used. We respond within 5 business days.

7. EU, UK and Other Statutory Withdrawal Rights

Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance purchase. For digital content delivered immediately, that right is lost once performance begins, provided the consumer gave prior express consent and acknowledged that the right would be lost.

Access is granted at the moment payment is confirmed, so performance begins immediately in every case.

Where mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction grants a right that cannot be waived or excluded by agreement, that law prevails over this policy to the extent of any conflict. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Price and Plan Changes

PEFG may change pricing or plan structure at any time. Changes do not affect a one-time purchase already completed.

For active subscriptions, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change takes effect on your renewal. If you do not accept the new price, cancel before the renewal date. Continuing past the effective date constitutes acceptance.

PEFG may add, modify, or discontinue calculators and features. If the paid PDF feature is discontinued entirely while you hold an active subscription, we will cancel your subscription and issue a pro-rata refund for the remaining prepaid period.

9. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you have a billing concern, contact us first at info@pefgconsulting.com. Most issues are resolved within a few business days.

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us may result in immediate and permanent termination of PDF access, including for one-time purchases, and PEFG may decline future purchases from you. PEFG will respond to disputes with documentation of the purchase, the delivery of access, and your acceptance of this policy at checkout.

10. No Warranty on Calculation Results

PDF reports and all calculator output are preliminary estimates generated from user-supplied inputs. They are not engineering studies and are not sealed engineering documents. Results depend entirely on the accuracy of the values entered.

Final engineering design must be performed by or under the direction of a qualified licensed professional engineer using site-specific data and verified against equipment manufacturer documentation and the authority having jurisdiction.

No refund will be issued on the basis of a calculation result, a design decision made using this site, or any outcome arising from the use of the calculators or PDF reports. The products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

11. Changes to This Policy

PEFG may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect on the date of your purchase governs that purchase. Material changes affecting active subscriptions will be communicated by email at least 30 days before taking effect.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
